Mayan has over 25 years of RE industry experience.  He specializes in Commercial/Land/Mixed-Use/Hotel/Affordable Housing/Specialty Use and works regularly with local and  National companies. 

Mayan gleans inspiration from object design, architecture both old and new, material experimentation and continuous exposure to architectural design and urban planning.  He continues to work on and research environmental and climate related obstacle solutions.  His   innovative and creative approaches to design and problem solving have been implemented in projects by architects, land use attorneys & developers.  He has extensive experience reviewing historical data & working with all related government agencies,  including building & zoning, D.O.T., Marine Corps &  Environmental agencies.  Mayan is known for his unique ideas and dedication to his clients.

GOALS & STRATEGY

My task is to realize my client's goals, from public projects to space design, highest and best use,  maximization or special use.  Most hurdles we encounter can be overcome with strategic design.  This is one my favorite parts of the job.  Even after  an architectural design has been submitted and  reconfigured, we search for  other angles which allow for an even more efficient or aesthetic solution.  Land that is unconventional, use that is original, or ideas that are cutting edge is a welcome and familiar hurdle we overcome with matching ingenuity.   I often remind myself of Orville Wright's saying: "If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true is really true, there would be little hope of advance."
